BRAKE RESPONSE DATA LOGGER

The Brake Response data Logger records the time taken for air to travel through the braking system to the actuators in 1/1000th of a second. This is then stored in its memory and printed in both text and cross graph form.

The machine shown is built into the Hope Scrutineer but is also available as a separate unit. The Hope Scrutineer is used to test both lights and brakes on trailers and the BRDL makes this into a powerful workshop tool. It complies with EEC Braking Directive 71/320 and FMVSS 121 in the United States. It can be programmed to display and record in bar or PSIG and is normally mounted on a trolley complete with a 30ltre or 1000 cu inch reservoir.

In just one quick test it records the application and release times ensuring hard copy evidence of the air brake system effeciency.
