Product Description
The ISO-T is a fit-and-forget unit, permanently mounted to the trailer, giving drivers a quick and easy way to check if their ABS/EBS and CAN line comms are in good nick. With its clear, no-nonsense display, drivers can tell at a glance whether everything’s running sweet or if there’s a drama.
As soon as the trailer is powered up by the truck’s ignition, the ISO-T kicks into gear. A green light means all is good to go, while a red light warns of a fault in the braking system, including any issues with the CAN communication lines.
The ISO-T keeps an eye on the voltages across all power lines and waits for the trailer ECU to “shake hands” with the prime mover to confirm the CAN lines are talking properly. Both earth pins get tested too, and if there’s a hiccup, the red light comes on.
To make it easy, the ISO-T doesn’t just show that there’s a fault – it points you in the right direction. First, the red light glows solid for 4 seconds to flag the issue, then it flashes a code to show what’s wrong. For example, two flashes means the trailer ignition power supply has gone missing, while six flashes points to a CAN Low fault.
The brightness of the light can also be adjusted, so whether you’re the driver, someone in the yard, or even security, you’ll spot that unmistakable green or red glow between the truck and trailer without any dramas.
