Breakdown & On Demand Service
Breakdown and Service Van Division offer multiple on site services that can keep your fleet moving. The vans are equipped with high end diagnostics and engineers with a wide range of experience on commercial vehicle faults. We also have an artic for recovery if the worst should happen and you need a vehicle recovered from the road side. If one of our service vans can’t reach your location,our breakdown team will gladly arrange and manage the repair or recovery of your vehicle.
Fleet maintenance
Full Fleet Maintenance is our holistic solution to maintaining a reliable Transport Operation. We offer a preventative maintenance programme which carefully monitors the wear placed on Commercial Vehicles and records it on a cloud based record to allow our Engineers to extract the maximum component life whilst insuring downtime is kept to a minimum.
Improving OCRS
With the Traffic Commissioner’s now implementing an Operator Compliance Risk Score it is imperative for Fleets to be conscious of MOT pass rates and DVSA’s view of their operation. Our Fleet Maintenance Team and capable workshop can achieve extremely high percentage of pass rates on annual MOT and be sure that when your vehicle leaves you can be confident that if stopped by a DVSA officer you need not worry about the vehicle conforming to the standard required.
Contractual sector demands
With industries now laying down their Health and Safety requirements on heavy goods vehicles its important to not miss Contracts that could make the difference to your business. We have extensive experience of retro fitting left turn alarms, 360 camera systems and radar onto fleets, to help meet these requirements and not lose the profitable Contracts available.
High investment in dealer specific diagnostics means that technology does not prevent the completion of your repair. With modern vehicles having systems such as lane departure and accident avoidance it’s imperative that we stay on the crest of developing technologies. We carry multi-brand tools such TEXA and Wabco Wurth but have also invested in OEM diagnostics such as DAF – Davie, Iveco – EASY , Volvo V-CADs , Mercedes Benz -Star alongside others.
Our Engineers therefore have the skills and tools to complete programming of control units after standard repairs such as engine service, brake repair or clutch replacement. We also carry out parameter specific adjustments to allow axle lifts to improve traction or many other adjustments to help you use the vehicle to the maximum.
Winners of the Wabco Service Partner Challenge UK, identified as one of the top 10 workshops in Europe and with over 30 years experience in airbrake, ABS, EBS & ECAS fault finding, we have built up a reputation for being able to resolve any Truck/Trailer braking or air suspension problem thrown at us. Working for major vehicle and trailer manufacturers we are service agents for Haldex, Wabco & Knorr-Bremse and, with our own in house electronics, we can offer everything from basic diagnostics through to complete system installations. All our vans carry an extensive stock of parts including ECUs, valves and sensors for all three makes, reducing down time ensuring your vehicle is back on the road as soon as possible. All our engineers are continually trained to meet the challenges of any new system or legislation introduced and are backed up by technical support from our workshop. We can upgrade your trailer to EBS, complete with a roll stability program, to help prevent rollover of high or unstable trailers, such as those fitted with Moffat units, fork lift trucks and double deck types. Improved driver safety, reduced costs and insurance claims and prevent disruption to your delivery schedules.
