The pedestrians walk on, oblivious to what one witness later described as their "miracle escape."
The footage is chilling not because of what happened, but because of what almost happened. The vehicle crossed the exact space where pedestrians walk, where parents push prams, where anyone could have been standing at that precise moment.

Weeks later, 89-year-old Daphne Stallard was killed on a narrow residential street in Llandudno when she was struck by a reversing Conwy Council recycling lorry.
